Sorry it has been a while I have been out of town.

The piers are catching good numbers of Mullets and a few Spots.  The Specks are starting to show up here and there but are still a little small.

The surf does have a few Mullets and a few Blowfish as well as some Spots and Specks.

Offshore we have some False Albies still around as well as some Kings within 10 miles of the beach.

MULLETSWow the Sea Mullets have been biting off the piers.  We have also seen a few Spots mixed in with the occasional False Albacore.  The Black Dum bite has been great off of Jolly Roger Pier as well as a few Reds and the Specks are starting to show up on all of them.

The surf has been producing some great catches of Black Drum as well as some nice Reds.  The occasional citaion sea mullet and some specks.

Offshore the Kings have been chewing at X-Mass rock.  Spanish Sardines on Blue Water Candy rigs have been the best preformers.  Be on the lookout for some Bluefin it is just about time.

tyleralbieThe Piers are catching Lots and Lots of good sized Mullets as well as a few Spots here and there.  A Few False Albacore are being caught on jigs from the pier but you have to be there at the right time.  There are also a few Flounder, Drum and Trout being caught.

Surf fishing is producing some citation sized Mullet on Sand Fleas as well as a few Pompano and a few Reds.  The Speckled Trout are still scattered and we need a good cold front to bunch them up.

The King bite is on fire around X-Mass rock and in other areas.  Lots of Gray Trout at the inshore reefs.

Inshore the Reds are still eating it up and the specks are starting to heat up.

floundersurfcityThe Piers are reporting good catches of Sea Mullets as well as a few Spots off and on.  Surf City pier even reports a few False Albacore off the pier this morning on diamond jigs.  The Flounderbite isn’t bad either.

The surf is seeing some BIG sea mullets as well as some decent catches of Reds at the south end and a few Pompano here and there.  The Specks are just starting to show and with this cold front I am sure they will be bunching up.

Just offshore some nice catches of Gray Trout and some big Kings on the beach.

No report from the stream
